We do not want to complicate stuff. This brief intro to Telex is to give basic working knowledge about Telex.
When the Original Bill of Lading for the shipment is issued, then it is sent back to carrier or surrendered to the carrier or their respective agent. Once this is done a Telex message is generated. This message is then sent to Origin and destination of the shipment.
This message is referred as a Telex release. Shipping lines have been using this message in past informing the destination that Original BL has been issued. It can simply be an email.
